LANE HOME FURNISHINGS 2008 ONLINE SWEEPSTAKES RULES. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE U.S., 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER AS OF JANUARY 1, 2008.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Promotion Timing: Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 a.m. E.T. on January 1, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. E.T. on December 31, 2008.

2. How to Enter: To enter the Lane Home Furnishings 2008 On-line Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), visit www.lanefurniture.com, click on the sweepstakes link, and fill in all required entry information. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply.  Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on the last day of each quarterly entry deadline date, to be eligible for that corresponding quarterly drawing only. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on December 31, 2008, to be eligible for the final quarterly drawing. Limit one entry per person/email address, per day. Entries will not carry forward for subsequent quarterly drawings, if any. Entries must be complete to be eligible

Quarterly Random Drawings: One (1) winner per quarter will be selected in separate random drawings on or about each quarterly drawing date indicated in the chart below, from among all eligible entries received by 11:59 PM (ET) on each corresponding entry deadline date indicated in the chart below. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received for each drawing. Each drawing will be conducted by Don Jagoda Associates, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions will be final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Grand Prizes will be awarded and winners will be notified by mail. Grand Prizes are nontransferable and no substitution is allowed except by the Sponsor who reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Sponsor and Sweepstakes Entities (as defined below) assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses or injury resulting from acceptance or use of any prize.

4. Prizes and Approximate Retail Values ("ARV"): Four (4) GRAND PRIZES (1 per quarter) - A Sponsor-selected Lane Home Furnishings Prize (ARV $1,000 per prize). Limit one prize per e-mail address/per person/per home address. Prizes are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by Sponsor. All taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners.
 
5. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the U.S., 18 years of age and older as of January 1, 2008. Employees of Lane Furniture Industries, Inc. ("Sponsor"), their parents, subsidiaries, their advertisers, their participating retailers, and prize providers, and each of their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent companies, distributors, divisions, agencies, Don Jagoda Associates, Inc. (collectively, "Sweepstakes Entities") and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) and members of their same households (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by national, state, or any other government laws. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.

6. General Rules: This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Mississippi.  Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the state of Mississippi. Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.  If any prize or prize notification is returned as non-deliverable, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.  By accepting the prize, winners agree that the Sponsor and those acting under the Sponsor's authority, may use winner's name, picture/portrait likeness and/or voice, for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. All entries become the sole property of Sponsor and none will be returned. In the event of a dispute, entries made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is deemed the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other online organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. The potential winners may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and award corresponding monthly prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation or termination. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, any combination thereof, or otherwise, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes.
 
7. General Release:  By entering the Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, you release Sponsor, participating prize providers, Sweepstakes Entities and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agencies from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of or inability to use prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
